mulatto is one of the most fucked up racial terms. did you know that it came from the word used for donkey? as someone of mixed race i find it highly offensive. i'm not gonna preach, i'm not gonna tell you how to live your life, but i will say that if you were in my company and referred to me as a mulatto, i would NOT react kindly. i'm not a fucking donkey.

When in the company of Mulattos I never refer to them as ‘mulattos’ for fear of getting mule kicked or donkey punched.
